Down Hill Mountain Biking Mogo, Batemans Bay

Once all the clients arrived at our meeting point on Coronation Dr Broulee everyone is fitted into the safety gear and sized up with their hard tail Mountain Bike. Next load up into the 4WD and into the Mountains a short 10-minute drive away to one of our many Downhill trails in the Mogo state forest.

Kate Dugdale enjoys the fast, sweeping turns on the trail named the A.S.T. Kate gained tons of skills and confidence from the detailed instruction and bike handling drills that we completed before our first Ride from the Top of Bimbimbie Rd.

At the top of the first trail you are surrounded by huge Granite boulders and from this vantage point the view looks out over to Mossy point and Mogo forest giving you a feeling of gravity filled anticipation. Our specially selected Forest trails that make up many of the now famous Netti ‘Angry Doctor' 100km endurance Mountain Bike race the in Maulbrooks Rd area South of Batemans Bay has so many long trails, many with great downhill sections and sweeping turns it really is a riders playground.

"I had such a great time, next time I'm in the Batemans Bay area I'm definitely doing this Mountain Biking tour again" said Kate. Once the whole group reach the bottom of each trail we all have a brag about how fast or good we think we ride, have a drink or snack and then load up the bikes onto the custom made Mountain bike trailer and jump into the Toyota 4WD Troop carrier.

Then head to the top of the next trail. Garry the 4WD driver and Robbie Hancock-James Fluid adventures junior MTB guide assist in loading up the bikes at the bottom of the Snake trail on Maulbrooks Rd near Mogo, ready for the next exciting riding trail off Pistol Shot Road 10 km's west of the Princes Hwy.

I am explaining to the group our riding safety spiel before we complete the bike handling skills demonstration. Before each group starts the first trail your guides thoroughly complete practical demonstrations for controlling your bike, technique, safe use and trail etiquette.
